It is an exciting time to join Staffordshire Jobs & Careers service and the broader Skills & Employability team, to deliver a Supported Employment project that provides a tailored and continuous approach to employment support for care leavers and adults with learning difficulties. Several 2-year fixed term posts are available to deliver the programme and to provide the wrap around services of quality assurance and project management support.

The Skills & Employability team is committed to improving people’s lives through learning and training, leading to employment and/or increased personal fulfilment.

The Staffordshire Jobs & Careers service is part of the Skills & Employability team, and it is responsible for the management and delivery of recruitment and support services to businesses, supporting Staffordshire residents into work and enabling employers to recruit skilled employees which will help businesses grow and contribute to improving the local economy.

Quality Assurance Manager
2 years fixed term, Salary: £42403 – £46464

In this role you will:

Develop and implement quality assurance standards and a quality framework.

Coordinate the Employer Skills service self-evaluation development and process to inform service priorities.

Empower, support, guide, mentor, and coach staff to successfully implement and embed new initiatives, with a focus on quality of practice.

Support and coordinate preparation for a supported employment Fidelity assessment, ensuring processes are robust and quality assurance records are up to date.

Use reflective learning from Fidelity assessments, reviews, and audits to improve continuous practice, performance, and commissioning outcomes.

Project Support Officer
2 years fixed term, Salary: £31364 – £35745

In this role you will:

Develop and manage project plans for the team’s main functions.

Monitor and report on project activities, timescales, budgets, and resources.

Maintain change control systems and ensure effective programme and project delivery.

Establish quality control practices and standards, including project planning, risk analysis, and maintaining risk registers.

Communicate project status, issues, and risks to relevant officers/boards for timely resolution.

Senior Employment Broker
2 years fixed term, Salary: £36,648 – £41,418

In this role you will:

Develop and deliver new employability projects, policies, and procedures.

Line manage a team of Employment Brokers to ensure effective service delivery.

Manage a caseload of job seekers with specialist and complex needs, helping them achieve sustainable employment.

Establish relationships with employers to support their recruitment needs and encourage them to consider candidates with complex needs.

Monitor and analyse KPIs to ensure team objectives are met.

Promote SJC and its programmes through internal and external relationships and develop a communications strategy.

Staffordshire Jobs and Careers Support Officer
2 years fixed term, Salary: £23,893 – £25,119

In this role you will:

Handle phone and email communications with partners, jobseekers, and colleagues to ensure enquiries are addressed promptly and efficiently.

Provide general administrative support and cover as required within the busy office environment, working as part of the Staffordshire Jobs and Careers team.

Monitor the return of information from delivery partners and jobseeker candidates to meet requirements, resulting in the production of accurate and complete records via our Client Relationship Management system.

Assist staff with decision-making and the future development of the service by accessing and presenting data as requested, such as formatted spreadsheets, tables, and graphs.

Contribute to raising the profile of the Service by maintaining the content of the external website for the Team, including updating the events calendar.
